Fall is finally in full swing! Football weekends (Go Dawgs!), new seasons of our favorite TV shows, sweater weather & Halloween right around the corner (have a costume yet?) are some of the things consuming our time outside of the salon.

I love, love, love Sci-Fi movies- good, bad, silly & everything in between. Gravity, the latest film from director Alfonso Cuarón, is nothing short of breathtaking. It's the kind of the movie that's the whole reason you go to the theater- intense & larger than life. See it in 3D- you'll be immersed in the vastness & beauty of space.

Halloween is the most wonderful time of the year! I love picking out a costume, carving pumpkins, and especially decorating my house! I can barely wait until October to start decorating. There are so many great places to find Halloween decorations, but this year I hit the jackpot at Pier One Imports!

Some days you wake up & just want to pull the covers back over your head. When I'm having one of those days, I throw on my Steve Madden combat boots & I'm ready for anything. Not only are they super comfortable, they look great with just about everything. Plus, they channel the best of the '90s grunge-vibe, that's having a huge moment now!

Glad one of the best interior design magazines is back.
Domino was my favorite interior design magazine. Full of inspiration, great DIYs, and new ideas, it wasn't a magazine I flipped through & discarded. When Conde Nast quit publishing it in 2009, I was devastated. I even bought issues I was missing on eBay! So, I was obviously super excited to hear that Domino was back. A new issues, focused on Holiday decorating is on the stands now & I can't wait to re-start my collection!
